“The aim is to increasingly increase the attractiveness of the Portuguese ecosystem and also create better conditions for national entrepreneurs, who wish to find open doors in international markets”, explains a statement from ANJE.
The note states that the main priorities are “to implement entrepreneurship networks that enhance business and promote the sharing of knowledge and experiences between the parties, with particular focus on the industrial aspect”.
“These partnerships are increasingly important for both parties, the more integration and coordination there is in the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) the better for the member countries, and in Portugal we have a lot to benefit from the opportunities and the dimension Portuguese-speaking markets”, said Alexandre Meireles, president of ANJE, quoted in the statement.
“We also have experiences that we can bring from these countries to Portugal”, added the businessman, citing the “cultural proximity” and the absence of language barriers as positive points, concluding: “If we manage, from this cultural part, to bring economic benefit to all and all winning is a unique opportunity”.
The presidents of FAJE, Paulo Narciso, and ANJE, Alexandre Meireles, and for JPM, Miguel Almeida Henriques and José Paulo Martins da Silva, signed the protocol in Porto.
